I have gradually moved from Acrobat X1 to PDF24 to PDF XChange over the last few years - and PDF XChange is the best of them all - by a loooong way!

Why? Because as you learn to use it bit by bit you discover just how good the tools are and how much better the results are compared to what you have produced in the past.

It just works. As advertised!! In this day and age, I think that is high praise.

The secret is to work into it slowly. Why? Because it gives your muscle memory time to change to the new menus quicker and easier than "Go all-in in one jump".

Thank you very much for reaching out. I wanted to share a brief initial impression of PDF-XChange, even though I have not yet been able to dedicate as much time to it as I had hoped. Over the past days I have been absorbed in resolving one of the recurring issues caused by Microsoft software, specifically a rather time‑consuming troubleshooting process involving Office 365.

That said, the time I have spent with PDF-XChange has been genuinely positive. The product feels well designed, effective, and impressively efficient. Many of its functions respond with a level of speed and precision that is quite refreshing.

I did notice one aspect that might deserve consideration: when creating watermarks, it would be very useful to have the option to combine text and image into a single unified "object," since in many real-world cases a watermark consists of both elements together. It is entirely possible, however, that this perceived limitation is simply due to my not having fully explored the feature yet.

Once I have gained a more complete, hands-on understanding of the software, I will be glad to share further observations and a more detailed review.

LOVE this editor! WAY better than Adobe and easy to understand and navigate. I've been using the free version for about 5 years, and decided to go to the paid version because I needed more things for my job. I use this editor daily in my job. It's great with extracting pages from documents! I LOVE the Stamp tool. I can create my signature, and use it as a stamp on all my signed documents. I cannot praise this program enough. Well worth the money, and it's actually cheaper than if you paid for Adobe.

This is a very good program. It works with 10-20 PDF documents open at once, and still performs well, unlike Adobe or Wondershare. Lots of features. The extract pages option could be improved. Great OCR option. A good purchase. I recommend it. Very reasonable price.

I compared this product with Adobe, FoxIt, STDU, and Sumatra. I tried to open custom made pdf file about 6000 nad 10000. All of above product scrolled slowly and I experienced some problems. Adobe even crashed. This product scrolled almost instantaneously. To tell yo the true, I checked BASIC FUNCTIONALITY ONLY.

Very pleased with PDF-XChange editor. I used to work with it during my working life as a projectmanager in industrial electric installations. Since i am on pension now i decided to join privatly.

Qu'est-ce que j'apprécie dans pdf xchange editor plus ? La performance de l'OCR, le traitement du pdf océrisé ou bien l'édition après OCR en ms Word avant le transfert en liseuse. Bref, cet outil s'insère parfaitement dans la chaîne de traitement entre le document scanné (pdf image) et son utilisation finale par exemple sur une liseuse. Bravo !

I found I needed to turn off "Keep Selected" for some comment features to suit my style of working.
My wish request is that the pasting of the comment item is located at the cursor not on top of the copied item.

It has some jankieness with the field detection and seems to forget detected fields from one save to the next. Your program is by far the easiest and best PDF editor out there barring Adobe's solutions.

I'm constantly struggling with editing text. It's unclear at times why I can't modify the font sizes for example when the text is clearly detected. That's the main frustration, else it's a well made program. It works, everything else I gave up on and just paid adobe until I found out my annual subscription with them pay walled features that should be included.

This software is the gold standard for PDF edits, management, works. It’s all there and it’s no fuss, comes without fancy pictures and blinking images.
It is fast and stuff is found where it should be, it is intuitive. I have been using it for 10 years and would always insist on it on every new machine.

The interface is hard to master. Somethings I can't figure out not like "normal" windows application behaviors, but Gemini was great in guiding me. With AI help it did everything I needed to or will need to do in the future.
