-Runs on the taskbar, always available to easily use and continue with the current pdfs. -File management is good, with favorites, recents etc. -Editing and viewing pdfs is quick and easy. -Customizable toolbars is good. -Operations are fast. -The GUI is nice. Not outdated looking and not the ugly modern flat style. -The user manual explains everything and is offline for viewing right in the program. -Conversions to and from pdfs is easy. -The pdf tools program covers everything you would want to do. -Multiple tabs and sessions is good.

This is probably the best document software ever made.

Requests:
-The little yellow dynamic box that appears on the ribbon after selecting something is distracting, when using dark mode. Could you let us customize its color please. -Create conversion presets, including what type of text to pdf encoder by default (I use utf 8 always). -The "override document colors" struggles sometimes with having a dark background and dark text, so I had to turn it off. -When opening an html file the program can't see an entire folder, so when I want to look at an "online manual" in this program I have to manually open each page seperately as a file instead of all the pages being in the same document. -The pdf tools program was somewhat crashy. -Could you make a way to close all the open tabs at the same time, or things like "save all tabs", or "end session". -With the File section, the sidebar pane could use some more padding. The File area itself has a lot of extra empty space so could you have a browser folder tree pane on the left and a preview pane on the right instead of forcing the windows "open" dialogue box. -In the File section a user reading list and reading schedule with an interactive calendar would be nice.

Installation was smooth and completely hassle-free. Even with its huge range of features, the software feels clear and easy to work with. Compared to the much more expensive product from A.. that I used before, I haven’t had a single error message since switching. Everything just runs flawlessly, from text recognition to editing and commenting. What I appreciate most is that it’s not subscription-based. I bought it once, and it simply works. That’s how good software should be.

I like the lightness and the good response time of the software.
Actually I do not like the fact that, if you open multiple documents in a single window, you cannot select the document from the thumbnails of the preview on the status bar.

tento SW jsem si pořídil na doporučení kolegy projektanta pro zjednodušení elektronické autorizace projektové dokumentace pro stavební úřady.
Se SW jsem velmi spokojen. Dle návodu na netu jsem si vytvořil pracovní šablonu na převod PD do formátu PDFA-3b a další šablony (dle druhů formátů) na elektronické razítko AO a současně vložení časového razítka.
Vše funguje k mé spokojenosti, cena za balíček SW byla solidní, takže mohu jen doporučit.

I truly appreciate how responsive you have always been with our inquiries. It is one of several reasons why I advocate for PDFX within our environment. Users can still request Acrobat but I am the one to review the use case and approve exceptions, which rarely happens—I love explaining how PDFX can meet the specific need they have and rejecting a request for Acrobat.

I was looking for a replacement for my current PDF editor (Nitro Pro) because they changed the licensing model to subscription and would not let me reactivate the lifetime license I had purchased in the past, in a move from Win10 to a Win11 machine. And that licensing gotcha is another story!!!

I downloaded and tried several different PDF Editors that met the needs of affordability, were NOT subscription based and had all the functionality, features and professional capabilities that I was looking for.

PDF-XChange PRO won, hands down.

It has all the features that one would want with a clean, logical and Windows-familiar interface. The ability to view, create, edit and secure PDFs is outstanding. This software company only does PDFs and has thus developed a focused excellence on features and capabilities. I am very happy with this purchase decision and rank it among my top 5 favourite software acquisitions. If I could awards it more than 5 stars, I would.

I have used the free version for years, there were some advanced editing features that i wanted to use and decided to by a licence, I dont regret it - also got licences for a few team members at the same time - the product is great.

Great software. The only thing I'm missing is a separation preview, which is incredibly important for print files.

I found it better than of Adobe.
It contains so many functions that it may surpass adobe pdf.
Ocr function is good,
Please increse the limit for use on more machines ...

I do really enjoy the use of my purchase PDF-XChange PRO.
Further more I would recommend the others to consider using these software as they get seamless program with full functionality at reasonable price.
The developers successfully created nice software for human beings.

I have used Adobe Acrobat Pro for many years. So, I thought I'd try PDF-XChange Pro and compare. After making myself familiar with everything, I find PDF-XChange Pro to be far superior to Adobe Acrobat Pro. Also, a big plus is that my monthly payment to Adobe is gone and I have purchased a 3 year maintenance fee for my PDF-XChange Pro. And I'm sure after 3 years, the new maintenance fee will not be that much, not even close to what Adobe charges. So yes, I win all the way around; win on features, and win and on price!

I am building a research archive of diverse document types. I had 16,000 PDFs, an unknown number of which were not OCRed. I used PDF-XChange to search for the image-only PDFs and then OCR them. PDF-XChange's multithread management capability enabled me to zip through that archive rapidly, taking advantage of my computer's capabilities. That's a powerful option for mass OCR project.
PDF-XChange has functionality that matches or exceeds Acrobat's. I'm considering making PDF-XChange my default PDF tool. If my testing succeeds, I'll replace Acrobat and save their expensive monthly fees.
I had occasion to call upon PDF-XChange's tech support. They responded rapidly and solved my problem. Great Service.
